Body Painting

Started working in the London music scene mainly for underage promoters at the age of sixteen, creating hand drawn flyers, posters and more recently branching out into record cover design. In terms of skills and techniques Ilyanna is familiar with computerised design programmes but primarily uses her distinctive and spontaneous drawing style to design and create all of her work. For this show Ilyanna has predominantly used acrylic paints, a fast drying and versatile medium which enables her to create smooth expanses of colour as well as tonal effects, creating pieces which often echo that of her flyer work.
